In 2011 at Ijevan branch of YSU, the Personnel Management Department (PMD) was formed on the basis of the personnel database, which in October 2017 renamed Human Resource Management (HRM) Department, since January  2020 Department of Personnel Management and Legal Assurance (PMLA).

 

The functions of the department are:

  1. Implementation of recruitment and free process of YSU IB employees

  2. Management of personal data of employees provided for by RA legislation and internal legal acts of YSU, formulation of relevant orders, contracts and other documents, management of employee database, management of appropriate human resource management information system.

  3. Preparation and adoption of job descriptions of position passports and other legal acts defining the duties and authority of the employee.

  4. Organization of processes related to employee adaptation and increase in work motivation at the workplace.

  5. Implementation of the professional development process (evaluation of opinions, trainings, other development activities).

  6. Assessment of work efficiency.

  7. Implementation of certification (if applicable).

  8. Resolving issues related to wages, rewards, official promotion, vacations, and dismissal.

  9. Encouraging employees and applying disciplinary sanctions to them.

  10. Provision of additional social guarantees provided by the employer and other issues.

  11. Organization of other organizations assigned by the employer to the management department (human resources, general part: secretariat, special part, archive, organization of other departments);
