Objectives of the program

The program aims to train tourism professionals who will be able to:

• to develop tourism development and organization principles and strategic plans,

• to carry out practical professional activities in the field of tourism,

• with their theoretical knowledge and practical abilities and skills to meet the current trends and requirements of the development of the tourism sector.

Career opportunities for graduates

Graduates of the program can work in the following fields:

• in the RA Ministry of Economy,

• In the State Tourism Committee,

• in public trade, food and service sector enterprises,

• in domestic, inbound and outbound tourism enterprises,

• in advertising agencies,

• in hotels and other establishments for the accommodation of visitors,

• at international airports and railway stations.

Graduates of the program can hold the following positions:

• in the fields of service and tourism as a designer, implementer-organizer, consultant of strategic development policies and programs,

• in hospitality, public trade, food and service sector enterprises: executive director, managers,

• advertising agents,

• developers and organizers of tourist services and packages,

• guides and tour guides. 

Graduates of the program can continue their studies in master's programs at YSU and other related universities.
