Information Systems Service and Development Department

On January 11 2013, the sub-branch computer center of Ijevan branch of YSU, it was renamed the Information Systems Service and Development (ISDS) department.

The functions of the information systems maintenance and development department are:

1. Maintenance, development, research of technologies and ensuring the most effective use of information systems in the educational process and scientific research at YSU IM.

2. Proper training of computer and information technologies to YSU IB employees, support of computer publishing works,

3. The development and implementation of a unified information policy at YSU IB, the introduction and effective use of the latest information technologies, as well as the implementation of information acquisition, research, analysis, processing, and dissemination activities,

4. The process of ensuring the technical equipment and availability of computer equipment, printers, scanners, copiers and other devices in the records of YSU IB,

5. Safe operation of the information network and provision of internet connection at YSU IB,

6. guiding students in the organization of methodological and research work, providing the necessary software and technical support,

7. necessary software for computer equipment, updating anti-virus programs,

8. organization of computer maintenance of final qualification works, course works, abstracts, independent works,

9. to ensure the dynamic development of the Internet websites of YSU IB by updating its software components.

10. solve other problems related to the main activities of the department.

11. the department has the right to adopt decisions within its jurisdiction, if they do not contradict the RA legislation and the internal legal acts of YSU.
