The goal of the program is to prepare specialists with interdisciplinary knowledge and skills in the field of English language and literature who will be able to:
to introduce the knowledge and skills of English (French) oral and written language in various fields of communication,
to perform written and oral translations,
to carry out scientific research on theoretical and practical problems of English and Anglo-American literature,
to combine language and culture in the spheres of public life and science,
to invest research skills in the fields of linguistics and civilization.
Graduates of the "English Language and Literature" program can work in higher education and all sectors of the economy where knowledge of the English language is required, and occupy the following positions:
translator,
manager,
tour guide
junior researcher,
press secretary
editor.
Possible workplaces are:
international organizations,
educational and research public and private institutions,
travel agencies,
museums.
Graduates of the program may continue their studies at a master's degree. If they receive additional education for the qualification of a teacher, they can also work at school as a teacher.
